Crispy Prosciutto is a great alternative to bacon on a salad. Easy to do and gives a salty addition to any dish as a garnish. Try on grilled baguette with bruschetta topped with fried prosciutto.

Crispy Prosciutto gives a salty, savory crunch to top salads and other appetizers where you want some additional flavors to up your meal.

- Cut the prosciutto into ¼” – ½” strips
- Cook the Prosciutto over medium to medium low heat to render the fat.
- The Prosciutto will begin to become cooked, but pay attention to keep it from burning.
- Once the Prosciutto looks to be crisping remove from the pan to drain on a paper towel.
- Let the Prosciutto cook before placing in an airtight container. Do not refrigerate as the prosciutto will lose its crispiness.
