Seared Fish Tacos are a great alternative to fried fish tacos, don’t get me wrong, a good fried fish taco with a great crema sauce, some cabbage, a great salsa and a squeeze of lime hits the spot.
This version is done with cod, you can use other fish you would like. This is cooked on the Kamado cast iron plate that allows the blackening seasoning to sear onto the fish. You can use a cast iron pan. Or use a cast iron pan on the grill.

Using the same formula for the fried fish taco, this recipe will use a great Cilantro Lime Crema, cabbage, and choices for salsas to give you a heat bite that will be a refreshing finish with that squeeze of lime.
